Bosses and Overall Game Structure

We have added bosses, shortened the length of runs, and more!

Changelog

  • Bosses - The game has bosses now! Bosses will appear different from normal enemies and will play new, terrifying boss cards that cannot be looted. After defeating a boss, all players will be healed for 50% of their maximum health.
  • Player Health Changes - Player health is now separate from base health. If either goes to zero, the players lose the game.
  • Setting Menu Cleanup - The settings menu has been altered to be more manageable for the player.
  • Bugfixes - Several bugs have been fixed:
    • The game no longer repeatedly asks for analytics consent after you said no. Sorry about that!
    • The game no longer hangs momentarily when a monster spawns on the town map.
    • Minor analytics bugfix.

What's Next?

  • Multiple options for starting deck
  • Sorting alchemist screen to show cards for which you can afford upgrades at the top
  • Cleaning up the logs to be more readable
  • Giving monsters on the town map the ability to path around each other
  • More Chaos Portal card variety
  • Better feedback on building menus when you can't perform an action
  • Ability to see which building is under construction
  • Monster AI improvement
  • "Attack with all minions" button
  • Warning when player hits "Done" but can still play cards
  • Auto-targeting for cards which only have a single valid target
  • Showing health for other players in multiplayer
  • Misc. bugfixes
