Quality of Life Improvements
Some significant updates have been made to make it harder to make mistakes during matches. A variety of other things have also been improved and cleaned up.
Changelog
- Auto targeting - When you only have a single valid target for an attack or effect, the game will choose it for you. This will not take place if that target is one of your cards, to avoid accidentally killing your own minions and such.
- All attack button - An "all attack" button has been added to make all your minions attack the enemy directly. This only appears if the enemy has no minions with Defender.
- Turn ending warnings - The game will now warn you and ask if you're sure when you end the turn but can still take more actions.
- Game tuning - Bosses are now the fourth enemy to spawn from a portal color instead of the third. This will make the game a bit longer. Player and base health have been increased to compensate.
- Menu improvements - The building menu will now display resources you don't have enough of in red. Additionally, The Void and the Keep will now tell you when you cannot remove more cards from your deck due to minimum deck size. Additionally, the description for the Barracks has been improved.
- Chaos Portal cleanup - The Chaos Portal's cards are now cost curved to be more appropriate for what is actually useful in your deck. Additionally, the card qualities now change based on game progress and are slightly randomized, like the Shop cards.
- AI improvements - The enemy AI has been improved. The enemy now understands how to remove or disable your items, and understands how to use targeted minion removal abilities that have special conditions.
- Town UI cleanup - Buildings no longer display their name beneath them since the tooltips already contain this information and the names were contributing to visual clutter.
- Log improvements - The game's logs have had the AI thinking logic removed from them to make them more readable
- Bugfixes - Several bugs have been fixed:
- Canceled enemy cards now flip face up before going to the enemy discard.
- A typo in Bloodthirsty Idol's text has been corrected.
- The enemy now understands how to use "on play" removal effects of minions, such as Puissant Entropist.
- Readability of cards has (hopefully) been improved.
